CAPWAP2 Construction Stage
Use of the Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA) during pile-driving enables our engineers to measure, calculate, and check pile bearing capacity, pile damage, hammer performance (for driven piles), and driving stresses. The PDA can also be used to estimate the bearing capacity of existing piles – already driven and/or bored piles. The dynamic measurements recorded by our PDA may be reanalyzed by the Case Pile Wave Analysis Program (CAPWAP) to produce answers regarding dynamic soil properties, skin friction distribution, and end bearing resistance to produce simulated static loading test.

Post-Construction Stage
We also offer the service to control the quality for our clients’ end-product. Over-driving may cause material failures of driven piles while difficult soil conditions often cause defective shaft of cast-in-situ (bored) piles. We offer the non-destructive low strain Pile Integrity Tester (PIT) to detect damages, cracks, and other changes of cross section of the pile shaft and the Cross-Hole Analyzer to verify the concrete quality of cast-in-situ (bored) piles.

GRLWEAP1 Monitoring and Design Modification
There are the times when vibration effects to existing buildings induced by heavy machine activities or piling process needs to be monitored as a consideration to modify the structure’s design. This can be conducted using our 3-axis Vibration Monitoring instruments. Also, the depth of cracks found in existing structures can be determined using the PUNDIT device.
